Whimsical character of the Commedia dell'Arte; originating in Naples, he is often represented as a pot-bellied hunchback with a long hooked nose. This character has been very popular since late 17th century. This all bisque mignonette is about 2.75" tall. Wire jointed extremities. No damage observed to the bisque parts. Painted face features.
