Beautiful doll with working sleepy eyes. Her eyelashes are nicely preserved, though they show some wear. Unfortunately, the bisque is damaged, with a glued area to the forehead. No other flaws were noted to the head.
The wig is a replacement, tightly glued in place and left as is to prevent any additional damage. Because the wig is glued, the marks on the back of the head are not visible. Based on appearance, the doll could possibly be by Bergmann or Hoffmeister, though the exact maker cannot be confirmed.
The body shows typical wear. The clothing was not fully removed, as it would require unstitching.
The doll is beautifully dressed as shown. There are a few tiny holes to the skirt, as well as stains to the stockings and underwear. Otherwise, the outfit remains in good condition. Stringing is good.
