Beautiful vintage 1963 Mattel Midge, Barbie's Best Friend, brunette version (Stock No. 860), coming with her original box. Midge has a lovely freckled face with bright blue eyes, well-preserved face paint, and original pearl earrings. The brunette hair has been restyled into an updo and appears full with no obvious missing hair plugs.
The doll is in very good vintage condition. There are no visible neck splits, and the body is clean with good color. The arms and legs are securely attached, and the straight legs are even and display well. Original nail polish remains on both hands with only light wear. Both ears have a small amount of green discoloration around the earring, as shown in the photos.
Midge is wearing a vintage red one-piece swimsuit. The swimsuit is untagged.
The doll comes with the correct original Stock No. 860 brunette box. The box shows light wear. The doll is coming with stand and two catalogs.
