Beautiful large antique French Bebe doll with bisque head marked with the classic scroll FG (Francis Gaultier) mark. The bisque head has been professionally restored; there is a visible hairline on the right side, and restoration and damage are shown clearly in the photos, which are an important part of the description. The pate and wig are replaced.
She retains her original French composition and wood body, which has been repainted. The crier mechanism is not working, possibly missing. Stringing is good, and she holds a pose well.
The doll is dressed in a charming antique dress showing some age-related holes and wear. She wears a two-piece set of underwear and cute shoes with wear.
