Pair of beautiful, very old dolls that most likely date to the very early 20th century or possibly earlier. They are approximately 9" and 9.25" tall.
Both dolls are stuffed with sawdust and are entirely made of cloth. They are beautifully preserved considering their age and materials. The colors are still vibrant and well preserved.
The dolls show only very light wear, including some discoloration and wear to the clothing, especially the female doll's outfit. The main flaws are to their legs. Each doll has a small hole on one leg surrounded by glue, most likely applied to help stabilize the damaged area and prevent further tearing. No leaking to this area or to the other parts of the dolls.
The dolls are connected to each other with a rope but can easily be separated.
