Sweet pair of old Soviet Union cloth folk dolls, a boy and girl, both dressed in traditional costumes. Both dolls have molded cloth faces with painted features, cloth bodies, and woven shoes.
The boy is dressed in a bright red outfit with a soft cap. His original label is still present and identifies him as "Peasant Boy" and Made in Soviet Union. The girl is dressed in a dark traditional costume with red accents and a distinctive head covering. She also retains a Made in Soviet Union label.
Both dolls are nicely preserved considering their age and show typical vintage wear, including some discoloration, fading, small stains, and wear to the clothing and woven shoes. The girl is currently displayed on a stand, which is included.
The boy measures approximately 6" tall, and the girl approximately 7.5" tall.
