This charming antique Theodor Recknagel doll features a solid domed bisque socket head with shaded black baby hair. Measures 20" considering bent knees; 13" in a sitting position. He has brown glass sleep eyes along with finely feathered brows and lashes.

Head seems to be in a perfect condition except small circular imperfection (?) to his right cheek. Sleepy eyes mechanism is working. Marked on the back of his head- "Germany J 9 A.5.R" attributes to Theodor Recknagel
Body:
His cloth stuffed original body has some repaired areas - please see all photos as they are part of the description. Celluloid hands. He is dressed as shown - all parts of his outfit are antique or vintage. Stains/holes might be present. Please refer to the pictures for more details.
