Adorable handmade mohair teddy bear, measuring approximately 14.5" tall! He is signed and numbered. The bear wears an unusual decorative collar made of assorted buttons, with a small penny attached.
The original handwritten tag appears to identify the bear as "A Penny Bear" and includes a date from the 1990s and what appears to be a limited edition number of 7/50. The exact artist has not been confirmed. The fur has a mohair-like appearance, although the material has not been verified. Please refer to the pictures for more details.
The bear is in excellent, like-new condition and appears to have never been displayed. He can be displayed in either a standing or sitting position.
No certificate or box is included, and we are unsure whether these originally came with the bear. The doll on the first photo, chair and book are not included.
